Hast thou thought of me?
For I have thought of thee.
And then I adapted it for American English, and it changed it just a little, and decided to put some words to it, and I wrote this as an affirmation for all the people searching for their great love, and that soul's counterpoint in another, that it existed, and that they could find it.

And, I live right now between Paris, France, up here in the Pacific Northwest.
Our beautiful Spokane, and, also San Diego, stopping through New York as often as possible and traveling around the world, and grew up in a very multicultural background with four languages at home and spoke all of them.
my grandfather is actually my musical influence.
I sang with him in church and he taught me how to sing harmonies when I was three years old, maybe two years old.
And so we would sing together until the day he died.
All of the church songs and all of the fun Mexican songs.
And every time we had a family party, we would sing all the mariachi songs together.

I was studying opera, and I was, singing musical theater all my life and playing classical piano.
And I saw that lady singing, and she had a flower in her hair, and she.
She was singing all these beautiful American Songbook songs and a lot of Billie Holiday.
And I said, I want to do that.
And I turned to my mom.
I said, I'm going to sing.
I'm going to be in a jazz, a jazz quartet.
And my mom said, that's great, honey, you just finished your university first.
Well, I'm actually giving you the unabridged version because what she really said was te usted tu Casa?
si, si me gusta mi casa.
okay.

So it's basically a mom's way of saying, do you like your home?
Do you like your bed?
Do you like your stuff?
Yeah.
Okay.
Well, like, if you sing, you won't have a house.
It's very Mexican.
A lady musician is as good as the fabulous gentleman that she keeps.
And she is nothing without those wonderful gentlemen.
This is Mr. Brent Edstrom, a dear friend of mine, Mr. Eugene Jablonski, who I like to call Eu-genius and Mr. Brendan McMurphy.
And this is the Brent Edstrom Trio.
This next song is called Sa Cha Cha.
My name is Sacha.
And all through school in America, I was called either Saca or Sacha.
And so I decided to make fun of that a little bit and, turn it into a cha cha.
So this little tune is about my family and about having faith and about sharing your joy and dancing.

I actually wrote it about my aunt and my uncle.
My uncle was fixing my car in a junkyard in Ojai, and, it was during Super Bowl, and somebody had smashed all my windows, and he was complaining about my aunt.
And at the end of the complaint of all these things, he went ah, and he just, he I said, what was that?
And he goes, I just love her so much.
