I promised this winter I'd bask in the cold, but I'm not sure how it will go I'll take this vacation and sleep till I wake up And if I'm chilled to the bone, I'll relish the freezing and roll in the snow I might not let anyone know I don't have a problem This season The reasons Tonight I'm seeing winter glow I might hang by myself or get lost in the crowd Decide to be quiet, or choose to be loud If I'm not at the party It won't mean I'm lonely I might have decided to enjoy my own company I've got a window with a view I don't need shiny and I don't need new I'm not all green and red But that doesn't make me blue Whether the sky is all blue or it's dreary If the streetlights are working, then I'll stay merry.
