A singer songwriter artist whos soulful spiritual music knows no bounds ♪ Stevie Lynne: I'm a registered nurse at Sacred Head Medical Center, I work on the cardiac sepsis unit I also worked on the COVID unit.

I've been doing music since I was a two-year-old on stage singing I Love you from Barney, my little Barney costume, my mom trying to hold the mic and I was trying to take it away from her, like I've got this, I don't need Help.

Music has been I think the cliché of my outlet, it's engrained in my cells, it just feels like it's a part of who I am, all the Time.

So I've always made an opportunity for music.

It has a ruggedness, a rawness to it that you don't normally hear when you listen to the original, but the real writing of that, the original story of that is a dark one, so it's kind of nice to actually, tap into that experience a little bit more.

We hurt each other as families but I realized at that moment that I had dug a little too deep.

♪ Stevie: What I can do for myself right now, not my music but what does my music do and give back to my friends and my family, people I don't even know.

My patients, I've given songs to my patients, like "Hard Days" they've told me that it has given them just enough fuel to go another day, and if that's the difference I can make in life, then I've done enough.

It was really important for me to share what that is like, so others know it isn't something that just goes away, it isn't something that makes that person bad, it's just a companion in their life that they wish they could just get rid of, but they can't.

I've been incredibly blessed to be able to work with a talented group of musicians in Spokane, I started going to amplified Wax recording studio with Jimmy Hill and Mandy Hill and that's when I started bringing in a lot more musicians that I would never have worked with otherwise just from the connections that you make with people in the local community I was able to meet Dre Davis who plays drums and the fun thing about "We are the people" is that my producer brought in Andre Montgomery who he had heard in the backyard mowing his lawn singing and he's like hey I've got the guy for you that we need to we need to bring him in for this and he just made the entire song it just he completed it and made it so unifying for all of us.
